A Beautiful Day at the Bank of the River Trent

A Beautiful Day at the Bank of the River Trent

March 2020 · 3 min read · City of Nottingham

Notting is one of the places in the world where I have several memories, today I would like to express my feeling about a walking on the Bank of the River Trent.

As I was living in the The Meadows, Nottingham about couple of years- I did visit the bank of the river Trent most of the weeks as the view of the river and a highland across is always worthy to watch.

A beautiful afternoon walking by the river is just amazing. It was late winter and flowers started to bloom across the country and gentle bridge just made the environment enjoyable.

The Sun is still shining in the afternoon!

The Sun don't want do hide behind the clouds, and still shining what made my walking just easy as without Sunlight it was still cold due to little wind. I started walking along The Meadows Recreation Ground where kids were playing football and several senior people was started to walk towards the river and across the field as well. The ground is really big one and another comparatively small one just side by side just after the Wilford Grove.

I have spent quite a few moment here and enjoyed the beautiful view of the river and the water. The water of the river was so clean and the sunlight just making the water even beautiful. Little ships, boates and kayaking by several groups made my day out there. Soon I started walking by the river and there were several steps to the river so you could find more steps during low tide.

I was surprised to watch beautiful swan in the river and at first I found them in the mid of the river and thought I could see them near me! Soon enough while I was walking towards the Bridge I found many of them and satisfied my eyes! They even didn't afraid of me so I captured few picture of them. My walking about to end as I had to returned home before dusk as it was still cold after sunset! So, before finishing my walk I thought to enter to the Nottingham War Memorial Gardens.

While I entered in the Nottingham War Memorial Gardens, I found flowers started to bloom and there were no leaves yet. The place is beautiful and well decorated, this place commemorate the dead of world war 1. There is a garden pond inside and several kinds of trees, flowers.
