Jhiripath in the wild Moulvibazar

February 2020 · 2 min read · Sylhet Division

It was one of my best travel experience ever! I didn't expect to find that much excitement and experiences before even starting the tour with my colleagues.

Jhiripath

After a beautiful couple of hours open Zeep journey we were finally at our destination. Our excitement started just after half an hour journey where the road started to be wild! I never seen trees that big in front of me apart television, the road was too beautiful due to beautiful Tea gardens and forest was each side of the road.

After reaching our destination we had to find a suitable bamboo stick as it would support me from falling off during walking. It was hilly area and sometimes we had to climb like 100 feet up and getting down to the bottom of a hill.

The path was tough, ups and downs...

We were lucky that we went to the place during dry season just after rainy season, it could be really dangerous to go for hiking during rainy season and I'm pretty sure we couldn't make it.

Couple of hours hiking up and down really required enough energy and morale. Few of us stopped several times and thinking not to finish rather go back with life!

..another Jhiripath we went across!

We had to cross several Jhiripath ( a moment of walk formed by the clusture of layred rocks that starts from the above of the main waterfall we were went to watch)

Both Flowers and Butterfly Was Beautiful

There were several beautiful flowers and several insects we found on the way, I've tried to capture some of them on the go.

Beautiful Wildlife

Finally we have reached the final Jhiripath which was deep as it was very close to the main waterfall. Sometimes we had to use the alternative ways due to the depth of water was above our head and few of us didn't know swimming.

a huge rock in the Jhiripath!
It is really awesome to be the Jhiripath at Moulvibazar in Bangladesh. Both my mind and my wish was fulfilled to be there. Although this is not the full story, I have already posted couple of more post at my steetmit account about the area; one of them about the end of the Jhiripath where the Big waterfall situated and another one regarding the beautiful Tea Gardens.
Hum Hum Waterfalls
The beautiful waterfalls started from another country and falls in Bangladesh. Really beautiful and high brought a huge amount of fresh water.
Tea Garden
Thanks Everyone and Hope You Have Enjoyed My Experience.
