Beautiful, magnificent, breathtaking, magical. These are just a few of the adjectives to describe the different tourist destinations in Coron, Palawan. And I must say, these are treasures that are worth to be taken care of.
I was privileged to be able to experience this paradise in the western border of the Philippines. Our country is truly blessed with a lot of wonders.
Coron, Palawan is more or less one and a half hours flight from the Mactan Cebu International Airport. Airfare going to Coron varies, but on average it is more or less Php 15,000 (more or less 300 USD). However, there are promo fares and if you are lucky enough, you can book a two-way flight for Php 3,000 (more or less 60 USD).
In addition, there are a number of travel agencies offering various tour packages to Coron. And I highly suggest you avail the tour package instead of a do-it-yourself (diy) trip for your convenience. But diy trips can also be fun, right?
We spent four days and three nights in the province, yet they were not enough to explore all the wonderful places that Coron has to offer. Nevertheless, I was satisfied with our adventure in Coron, Palawan. And I will definitely explore Coron over and over again.
These are some of the amazing places that we explored in Coron. And there are still a lot of places that we have yet to explore. I have another reason to go back to Coron, Palawan again! ;)
