If you planning for holiday in Malaysia do mark your itinery to Sunway Lagoon.

Sunway Lagoon Theme Park describes itself as Malaysia's main theme park and Asia's Best Attraction.
My daughter rated it as a favorite theme park in Malaysia (along with Legoland Malaysia), thats a fair comment.

The Sunway Lagoon is 80 acres and is part of the 800-acre Sunway Integrated Resort City, which includes 5-star hotels, popular shopping malls, residential blocks, hospitals and more. Built on a tin ore mine in Petaling Jaya in south Kuala Lumpur, the development is an example of industrial wasteland recovery.

This is the first Nickelodeon themed park in Asia and includes interesting water rides and attractions such as Monsoon 360, Fury Jungle, Kubarango, Splish Splash, Primeval and Hippo Valley, with a mix of favorite Nickelodeon characters from Spongebob Square, Dora The Explorer and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Water parks include Waters of Africa, African themed parks, and Surf Beach.

My kids enjoy the Congo Challenge, a six-lane water slide where people can race with each other.

There are several slides and other tubes to enjoy slow river flow and waterfall.

But the highlight of the Water Park should be at Vuvuzela, where it offers the world's largest surf. It's similar to vortex travel in i-City, but the Sunway version is much higher and lasts longer.

Surf Beach is said to be the largest man-made surf beach in the world. The wave engine, which can produce waves up to 8 feet in height, but didn't work on our recent visit. Back to the beach is a 75-foot high volcano that should have erupted periodically but never erupted on my last visit. Surf Beach is a great place to relax and if you arrive early, you might want to grab one of the island's woven gazebos to experience the tropical atmosphere in addition.

Of course a proper swimsuit is required for this part of the park and spare parts and lockers are available.

Another popular attraction at the Water Park is the Waterplexx 5D, a fun virtual journey in a cinema-like setting and with chairs moving around while watching short films (4 minutes) but thrilling with 3D glasses.Plastic chairs and puddles on the floor provide clues as to what to expect when spectators get “splashed” and soaked during the experience. You gonna get Wet and dont get Dry!

For you who do not like to be soaked there there are many you can do in the World of Adventure including the Roller Coaster at the Lost City of Gold, rotating rotating rots called Apache Pots, and want to make you feel the last sentence on Tomahawk and Revenge Pirate. The Wild Wild West has tamer ride for young people like Butch Cassidy Trail, Alamo and my favorite, Grand Canyon River Rapids. There are also Colorado Splash some arcade games.

Wildlife Park is a great small zoo that specializes in cute, cuddly, friendly animals and some types of wildlife such as eagles, pythons and tigers. Crocodile feeds rabbits, turtles and guinea pigs and breeds horses. Inside the bird cage are some very friendly serendipitous birds that inhabit the head and arms. There are bird cages such as kites, owls, peacocks, parrots and older siblings.
