Situated between Queenstown and Derwent bridge on the Lyell Highway.

The Wilderness Highway, a few of the great short walks and adventuring off into all the nature was one the many high lights of our Tasmanian trip.

Unfortunately even thought it was only a really short walk we didn’t make to the falls. We were already running well behind schedule and still had a long way still to go to get to our accommodation. With so much to visit and see it was difficult to decide what to include and what not too.

So we decide the Nelson Falls track would have to just be a quick toilet stop mand a 5 minute stretch of the legs. It’s got to be one of the best short stops we have ever done.

Well that’s the last of our recent Tasmanian trip, we loved every minute and would definitely come back again. 10 days was never going to be enough to see everything on this wonder Island. The weather was kind to us and it was great to be travelling again in these covid restricted times.
