It was fun getting to explore Sydney early in the morning on a cold winter day while most people are still tucked up in there bed. Fun because there is way less traffic around and for me that means less stress driving and navigating.

There is plenty to see and experience in Australia’s most famous city. It pretty amazing to drive underneath the harbour instead of over the old iconic Harbour Bridge. I got a bit of a shock with how expensive some of the roll roads where and how many there are now but they do save a lot of time getting around.

I had chosen this destination as I had never been to St Peters or Sydney Park in before. One of the inner suburbs about 6 kilometres south of the central business district.

The area had a bit of history as an old brick work factory. They have been able to preserve lots of the old building as well many of the new building and renovations had been done with the same distinct old brick colours and feeling.

We were quite near the airport as well.

Sydney park in St peters is also home to the very first parkrun in New South Wales, the 5th one in Australia. I an hopping to visit the first parkrun in each state and territory of my home country as a bit of a challenge. This would be my 3rd of 7. Still a fair bit of travelling and adventuring to do.

I did not run very fast at St Peters in a big crowd but it was great to be out and about collecting another new event.
