Argostoli is a town and a former municipality on the island of Kefalonia, Ionian Islands, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Kefalonia, of which it is a municipal unit. The morning started pretty rough as the hiking from the day before in Kotor and only sleeping a couple of hours took a toll on my morning. My legs were sore but what made it worst was the fact that I was tempted and spent a long night at the Casino “learning” to play Craps which ended costing me 600 Steem; a Minnow sized account! It was fun as it was a lively group but as in most gambling games, the house always wins. What is worst is the fact that I truly had some beginners luck as I was up about 500 Steem after my first dice roll! Instead of taking some profits, I played my stack to the ground and end the night with nothing!

After an early lunch (because of a late wake up), the family and I all headed to the town to see what we saw. The beauty of Europe continues to amaze me as we walked thru the streets of the town and found ourselves at a great town square with some great surrounding places to visit. I had read that there were some awesome pastry shops to visit but we did not see them until we started working our way back. It was well worth the wait as I tasted the best Baklava I have ever had!

While my family enjoyed their walk through the shopping roads, they were quickly disappointed when we all found out that there is a siesta time for many shops in the afternoon. There were two particular shops that had my wife’s interest but were closed until after the time we were due to be back on thr Cruise. I could say it was lucky for me as I had already bought some things for here that would have been more than 1,000 more Steem for me!

Yes, I continue to measure the things I buy in Steem as it is a great way to provide perspective on my spending. This becomes important as I realize the amount this vacation has costed and compare to what I have I gotten out of it. While it could have taken me past Orca, I continue to feel that it is similar to Steem invested as it had provided some great experiences that we will remember for years to come. In fact, it had started to give us perspectives on how we live today and the potential we have to live tomorrow by adjusting our ways.
