Another month, another vacation! This time I was able to buy some cheap flights from Frankfurt (Germany) to Boston (USA) for only 370 Euro. I flew with Lufthansa and planned on visiting a friend who lives close to Boston.
He picked me up at the airport and we drove to his place at Easthampton. I met him at my hometown Paderborn where he studied a few semesters. North- & Easthampton are located in a beautiful environment and especially during fall the local forests have a nice look.

Our first stop after my arrival was “Five Guys” to grab a burger one cannot buy in Germany:
We also filled up our fridge and on my first day I watched a local soccer game. My friend works as a soccer coach and the weather was really inviting me to watch the match:
In general, I did not come to visit a lot of tourist stuff. My visit was more about relaxing, drinking beer and meeting new people. It was all about escaping everyday life in Germany and enjoying the American way of life. This meant also a lot of American foods:

Due to the nice weather we decided to walk up the local mountain Mount Tom. We got an amazing view on the nature shining in fall colors:
During my two weeks in the USA, we also visited NYC. It was my third time in this big city (fourth time in the USA) so that it was also more about meeting people and partying then visiting tourist attractions. I was able to take some nice photos anyways:
