I Gigli, the biggest mall in Tuscany, enjoy the Christmas atmosphere.

Today is Christmas Eve and Christmas, in addition to being a spiritual, traditional and family holiday, let's face it, in recent years it has also become a very consumerist holiday. This is why many of us have rushed to buy gifts for relatives, friends and acquaintances in the last week. And so I did too when I went to one of the largest hypermarkets in Florence, the Gigli. The lilies are known throughout Italy, it is a very large place with two floors, on the lower floor there are two galleries dedicated mainly to the shops of big brands, Calvin Klein, Gucci, Swarovski etc and smaller brands: Zara, hem, Cottonandsilk, Piazza Italia, Primark etc... Plus various home accessories shops and various jewelery shops. On the upper floor there is the refreshment area, with a vast choice of restaurant chains: Spizzico, KFC, McDonald's, Old Wild West, Antico Vinaino, Pomi and various Asian, Chinese and Japanese restaurants plus places dedicated only to Bubble tea or other particular products. The Gigli are an ideal place for unbridled shopping and there are so many shopping and culinary temptations, if you come here be prepared to leave us a salary!

But today I don't want to take you around the shops but show you the beautiful Christmas decorations. Being a large supermarket (ah obviously there are also two supermarkets inside, various technology and toy shops, beauticians, hairdressers and DIY shops) it has many Christmas decorations, we entered from the upper car park on the second floor and immediately seen in the air some beautiful colored packages towering above the main gallery. But already in the upper gallery there were other decorations with golden packages and red bows.

On the lower floor, however, I was struck by a very creative Christmas tree inspired by the Advent calendar with luminous boxes one above the other, really beautiful and particular, located at the end of one of the galleries. To see the Lilies we are lucky enough because we live an hour away but there are those who even come from Sardinia.

Along all the galleries there were instead these beautiful cascades of light that made the atmosphere truly special and in another gallery there was even a very old-fashioned carousel installed which was really pretty, it's a pity that there were few children on it, evidently they were all taken from the shops of toys and books! In short, my little tour of this magical hypermarket is over, if you want to do some excellent shopping with lots of choice, come to Tuscany at Gigli!
