Innsbruck is one of the biggest city of Austria, I use to went there every year for the Christmas markets, this year we can not move so I search some memories of my last trip in Innsbruck.

Innsbruck is the fift biggest city in Austria, is situated not far from the Italian border, close to the alps (you can see them from the city), and with the wipp valley that lead to the Brenner pass.

The city it's very colorful with houses of many colours that give a magical atmosphere to it, that's why I love Innsbruck, I think during the winter is at the best and it is really magical.

Here at the marketss you can try many things, food, drinks etc..

Mostly are food trucks with rosti, Sacher torte, strudel and other typical food, but there are also trucks with red hot wine and sider.

You can also buy cashmere stuff, gloves, hats and any other clothes useful for winter and souvenirs too..

Innsbruck is the capital of Tyrol since the 1400.

But the city exist from before, also pre Roman age.

Innsbruck have a long religious story with Maximilian first and others emperors.
