This church it's a very old church near the city center of Pistoia, the church is also know as San Bartolomeo al pantano, the pantano was a place full of flood, this church was builded in the 800 after the river brana move for some environment problems.

This is the frontal door, simple with some sculptures dedicated to the annunciation and two lions that protect the door, usually we enter by that door for the holy mess but now that there are problems for the covid we use a backdoor for entering in this church and we can not enter there freely as always.

Here there is a modern art sculpture, made in memory of the Saint Peter keys for open the paradise, its a nice key because means the open of the paradise and its really wonderful its situated in front of he church.

The church was originally builded thanks to the priest guidobaldo, it's dedicated to saint Bartholomew, it's the kind of church that I love to visit, because it's so old and charming. The church was dominated by the guardian of the tucsia, the ancient society of Tuscany. This church is also nominated the church of children, the 24 August here we celebrate this festivity. With special food, especially some sweets called corone in English crown, very yummi and loved by the children.

I wish you could visit this church on 24 August  because it's really a coll church.
