Torrita is situated on a hill in the western part of the famous Val di chiana, a valley popular for the wonderful landscape, villages, meat and wine.

The village have four doors, porta gavina, porta a pago, porta a sole and porta nuova.

During the middle ages people use these doors for the war against montepulciano and for protecting the nearest Siena.

In recent times it was popular for the artisan field and the manufacturer of the wood.

Actually it's a place where you can have a walk in relax and they made here some middle ages festivals.

It was really a nice trip.
