Colorful Autumn Leaves In Japan

Colorful Autumn Leaves In Japan

November 2019 · 2 min read

Hello everyone,

It's been a long time since I've posted. In this post I’d like to show you a beautiful view of Japan in Autumn, which has started already in each area. The famous fall foliage of Kyoto Prefecture in the Kansai region. I checked the forecast on many websites and finally, I decided on Kuwayama Shrine, which I've already been to twice.

Kuwayama Shrine is located in Kameoka City in Kyoto. Take the train about 20 minutes from Kyoto Station and get the local bus, about 20-30 minutes. This shrine is popular for local people and tourists, both foreigners and Japanese. This place seems to start the fall foliage season earlier than other places in Kyoto.

The elegance of the colorful leaves starts at the entrance gate. The maple tress were red and the Gingko trees were yellow. There was an entrance fee of 300 JPY.

The highlight was the stone bridge which had various colored leaves in the background. It is difficult to take photos here without people. Lol

I strolled around the garden that had a lot of spectacular views. I did not miss taking some good photos to remember the trip. I was lucky today was a nice, clear day. I could see the blue sky.

I have some photos to show, hope you like them. I highly recommend this place and it will have a light up at night also.
