In December of last year, we had a company trip to Niseko in Hokkaido. Hokkaido is in northern Japan. There are many great ski resorts and famous places for traveling. At that time there was travel promotion, so we got the maximum 50% off for accommodations and restaurants. This trip was about 4 nights and 5 days.
We took the direct flight from Kansai International Airport in Osaka to Chitose Airport in Hokkaido about two hours. After we arrived at Chitose airport we rented a microbus for 10 people and headed to the hotel in Niseko Town, about two to two and half hours away.
We stayed at the Panorama Niseko which is a luxury hotel with a magnificent view of Yotei Mountain and the ski resort. There are 5 bedrooms, 6 toilets, a kitchen, a living room, a private hot spring and fully furnished options. It is suitable for families and groups.
Everyone had snowboarding experience except me. I took a 4 hour snowboarding lesson to learn the basics of snowboarding before joining the group and snowboarding together. The teacher was Japanese and had more than 15 years experience.
We bought the Niseko United 3 day lift tickets which included Annupuri, Grand Hirafu, Hanazono, and Niseko Village.
