In this post I am sharing the best photographs that I have taken of the animal kingdom in the Himalayan region along with a little story of capturing these pictures.
The picture above shows a small sparrow usually found on the lower to mediun elevated regions of Himalayas. The particular picture is taken at Solan town of Himachal Pradesh during my stay at Solan town when I was heading towards Churdhar peak of Sirmour distt. of Himachal Pradesh.
This is a picture of a bull, very big in size. I found this bull sitting on the way to the top of the Chanderkhani pass. It was sitting there fearless alone, as if the whole mountain was owned by it.
I will always remember this dog. This dog followed us for about a full day when we were going to Hampta Pass. It stayed outside our camp at night and disappeared the next day. He might have gone with some other trekkers on the way.
The above picture is taken at a garden in lower Himalayan region of Hamirpur Distt of Himachal Pradesh. These kind of lizards can be found at warmer areas. I photographed it as soon as I saw it and the photograph came out to be awesome.

This sheep actually posed for the photograph. Captued at the Chanderkhani pass, this photo shows an amazing moment of a sheep watching onto the lens amazed.
This is a Himalayan Shepherd puppy which I found outside a GADDI (Shepherd) camp at Chanderkhani pass. I asked GADDI to sell this puppy to me, but he refused to sell at any cost. This shows their love towards their animals. They treat those animals as their family only and live a happy, peaceful life in one of the the most difficult situations of the world.
