Another great spot we visited in Montenegro was the littly city of Perast. This visit is not a spectacular event, but it has its charme in a silent way. Also located on the Bay of Kotor, stop at the bus stop on the main coastal road, where you will already get an overview of the special features of this place: a tower and two small islands in the middle of the bay.
Ein weiterer toller Ort, den wir in Montenegro besucht haben, war die kleine Stadt Perast. Dieser Besuch ist kein spektakuläres Ereignis, aber es hat seinen Charme auf stille Art und Weise. Auch an der Bucht von Kotor gelegen, hält an der Bushaltestelle an der Hauptstraße der Küste, wo man bereits einen Überblick über die Besonderheiten dieses Ortes bekommen: einen Turm und zwei kleine Inseln in der Mitte der Bucht.

Few narrow steps lead you down through the old town until you reach the coast. Down there you can access the tower and climb up the rough stairs to get another great view over the bay, surrounded by mighty mountains.
Wenige schmale Stufen führen durch die Altstadt bis zur Küste. Unten angekommen kann man den Turm betreten und die holprige Treppe hinaufsteigen, um einen weiteren tollen Blick über die Bucht, umringt von den mächtigen Bergen, zu bekommen.

At the quai they offer boat trips to one of the islands, Gospa od Škrpjela, where an ancient chapel is built on.
On the other island, Sveti Đorđe, is the cemetery of the village. So we got on a boat and after few minutes we arrived at the chapel where we spent some time around the chapel and inside.
Am Ufer werden Bootsfahrten zu einer der Inseln, Gospa od Škrpjela, angeboten, auf eine alte Kapelle steht.
Auf der anderen Insel, Sveti Đorđe, liegt der Friedhof des Dorfes. Also nahmen wir ein Boot und nach ein paar Minuten erreichten wir die Kapelle, wo wir einige Zeit in und um die Kapelle herum verbrachten.

From there you also get a great view to the sister island with it´s high trees and ancient buildings. Locals seem to love swimming there.
Von dort hat man auch einen hervorragenden Blick auf die Schwesterinsel mit ihren hohen Bäumen und alten Gebäuden. Einheimische scheinen dort gerne schwimmen zu gehen.

I took some photos, then we headed back to the mainland. There we had some real good fish for lunch in a restaurant located at the quai. And since this trip wasn´t very exhausting, we went back to Kotor by bus where we started climbing the fortress...
Ich machte ein paar Fotos, dann fuhren wir zurück zum Festland. Dort hatten wir einen wirklich guten Fisch zum Mittagessen in einem Restaurant am Kai. Und da dieser Ausflug nicht sehr anstrengend war, fuhren wir mit dem Bus zurück nach Kotor, wo wir anfingen die Festung zu besteigen ...
