Every year we go on a hike with colleagues. That is our good habit. This time we agreed to go to the Slovak Karst National Park, cross the Hájska valley. We wanted to go eight, but only until they changed the weather forecast from a beautiful sunny day to a rainy day. It already looked like we weren't going anywhere. In the end, the two of us decided to go! The weather won't stop us!
We get in the car and set off. We are looking forward because it is warm and the sun is shining. We come to the small village of Háj, from where we walk on an asphalt hiking trail.
I first heard about Hájská dolina when I was looking on the map where we would go on the hike. Only there I learned that it is known for its waterfalls. It doesn't take long and we come to the first one.
This waterfall is called Dolný Hájsky waterfall. The stream of water created a small lake beneath it.
One waterfall replaces the other. In a moment we are at the second waterfall. Waterfall The Large waterfall Hájsky bridge is much wider than Dolný Hájsky waterfall. He is hidden in the woods and has his charm. I fold the tripod and start taking pictures. I change the shutter speed to achieve the effect of blurred water.
We stayed with him for about half an hour, but we're heading for the next one.
We walked around all the waterfalls. The weather had changed in the meantime and the sun was hiding behind the clouds.
We went through the gorge and enter the picturesque village of Hačava. There is music throughout the village and goulash is cooked in the middle of the village. Apparently they have a party today.
We didn't go far when it started to rain heavily. We are considering whether to move on or return. Since the rain does not discourage the right tourist, we decided to continue. After a while, the rain stopped and the weather repaid us with a beautiful sky.
It rained several more times during our trip, but in the end we were glad we didn't give up and we went on this unforgettable trip.
Well thank you.
