One of the places to be when visiting the Polish capital Warsaw can not miss is a visit to the ZOO. During our week-long stay in this historic city, we set aside one day to visit it. Although the tour is not so time consuming, we do not want to hurry unnecessarily and we want to walk in peace.
We live close to the city center and to get to the ZOO, which is located behind the Vistula River, we use the subway as a convenient means of transport. We get off at the station and through the park we get to the entrance gate.
First, we study the plan and find out where the individual animals are. However, the most important information for us is where we will be able to buy something to eat. Hunger is hunger.
We decided to start a tour of the fish pavilion. Aquariums burst with colors and we admire the diversity of aquatic animals.
We come to baboons. But that's cool. Lounging and cleaning. Baboons have a complete wellness here.
The gorilla doesn't look so enthusiastic a bit next door.
The bird kingdom is represented in large numbers in this ZOO.
My greatest joy is from Tucano. I've never seen him live before.
The eagle, the king of birds, poses beautifully for me in front of the lens.
The king of animals cannot be ashamed either. From an elevated position, he watches what's going on around him.
Time flies fast. It's lunch time. We buy something to eat and go eat on a bench in the shade.
The sun is warm and the animals, like us, have found a place to rest in the afternoon.
We continue after the lunch break. The wife was most looking forward to the elephants.
I was most looking forward to rhinos and hippos.
We were both happy to see them live.
The baby rhino made me very happy.
In addition to the animals mentioned above, we have seen kangaroos, yaks, penguins and many other animals.
It was a pleasant day in Warsaw.
