Travel diaries: Bangladesh (my country) - part 2

Today was really tough day for me. Outside was too much cold plus snow was falling like rain. I remember when i was in my country , i used to dislike rain because of facing trouble while i was on my way to office or university. I don't hate rain, in-fact i love to see falling rain-drops . I can remember whenever it was raining outside, i made a cup of coffee, sat beside the window and enjoy the rain if i stay at home. Right now, i feel the same for Snow-fall... Crazy me.. hahaha...

I have already published my part 1 where i described south-eastern part of my country. I feel very proud when i write about my country because i am kinda bit selfish talking so much about Bangladesh.

You can see , Bangladesh is a very small South-Asian country with large population. We have six seasons that's why we say Bangladesh has sub-tropical monsoon climate. Six seasons are Summer, rainy-season, Autumn, Late-Autumn, Winter and Spring.Several rivers from Himalayas are flowing inside the country and join The Bay of Bengal. Cox's-bazaar longest sea-beach :

The Bay of Bengal is situated at southern part of Bangladesh. Cox's-bazaar is the main beach and tourist town (small town of Chittagong District) of Bangladesh which is located alongside of Bay of Bengal known as longest sea-beach of the world. If you wanna know more check here. Winter is the tourist season of beach area, because sea becomes calm and quiet plus people like to visit cox's-bazaar during winter.

Overview :

Generally, people enjoy to watch sunset here. Lot's of good hotels and resorts are available there so that you don't need to worry about staying for holiday. Some hotels have private beach so that no-one can't disturb their client. Several sitting area available on the beach for passing leisure time and enjoying the sea breeze plus for rest. Small markets are available for those who loves to collect souvenir and sea-shells . Foods are also amazing, you can taste fresh sea-foods in any restaurants. It is the safe place for tourist as well.

Things to do :

Longest Beach :

You can walk around, can enjoy the sunset plus you can swim in the sea also can do surfing. There is a cafe called Mermaid Cafe which is super cool , exciting place to spend time and hangout with family and friends. You can find small markets where you can find some coolest stuffs and home decors made by some unique sea-shell. In town , there is a market called "Burmese market" where you can find traditional Burmese cloths , Shell-pearl jewelry.

Inani Beach :

This beach is little bit far from cox's-bazaar town, totally west side which is 18 km long . This beach is famous for picnic spot. This beach has spectacular view and has lots of coral stone which changes color into green during summer and rainy season . This beach is well-known for rocks and corals. The blue water , sunrise and sunset and lines of stone make this beach most attractive place for tourists.

Other sightseeing :

There is a place called Himchori famous spot for photo-shoot, Marine drive road which is 80km road from cox's-bazaar to Teknaf. It is world's longest marine drive road along the Bay of Bengal with awesome magnificent view. Hills, beach everything together create an attractive place for tourist that's why many foreigner come here to enjoy this south beauty of Bangladesh. Zoo and aquarium is also available which is not very big but good to spend time with children if you are interested.

Food :

You can find different types of food here specially sea-food. Different fishes are available plus every types of curry , fry you can enjoy. Alcohols are not allowed everywhere because it's a Muslim country so those can be found on 3-5 star rated hotels. Crabs, Lobsters, Prawns , Pomfret fishes and Coral fishes are famous but scallops, squids are also available. Mostly Dry Fishes are so cheap.

Architecture :

Hotels are amazing specially 5 star rated hotels. Resorts are also different and great for spending leisure time with family and friends. Some resorts are called Eco-friendly resort. Also some Buddhist temples are located on hilly areas. There are also some studio-apartments which you can rent for 4-5 days.
