A Short Adventure to Blue Point Beach Bali

A Short Adventure to Blue Point Beach Bali

November 2019 · 3 min read · Bali

There are many beaches in south Bali. One of them is called the Suluban beach. It's also called the blue point beach since there is a hotel located near the beach with that name. And this was a story of my short visit to Suluban Beach, Bali.

To reach this beach from the main land, we have to walk down the cliff for at least 5 minutes. The path to the beach was quite good. From the top, it goes zigzagging, with some concrete stairs on some part. Along the path, there were many shops and cafe to eat or drink. There are also pavilions to look out to the ocean, and the beach.

After walking down for about 5 minutes, you will see a cliff wall. On this cliff wall, there was a sign saying I have arrived in Suluban Beach. Next, I had to finish the stairs before stepping my feet on the white sand.

There were more than one opening to the beach. There were tunnels or caves in on the cliff located my left side. Few months ago, on my last visit, I was able to walk through these tunnels to get the the beach on the other side. But this time, the tide was really high that filled the tunnel with water. I could not walk through.

This was the furthest point in the tunnel I managed to go to.

After spending sometime there, and thinking there was no way I could go to the other side, I walked back up. It was midday, many people went to cafe or restaurant on the cliff to have lunch. The restaurant on the most top of the cliff have the most visitors. That's where I also had my lunch and taking more photos in the restaurant over the cliff top.

The view from the restaurant, there were many surfers on the beach.

The day was hot, so it felt relaxing just to sit and enjoy the view of the ocean from the restaurant. And that's conclude my little adventure in Suluban Beach, Bali.
