Your Karma Will Take You to Karma Beach, Bali

Karma Beach is a beautiful beach in southern edge of Bali island.

In the morning, the sky was cloudy, but after driving for 1.5 hours then arriving at Karma Beach the day has turned hot. It was nearly eleven o'clock when I got down to the beach.

Yup, from this point, I turn left.

Walking through a narrow passage, there was a sign board that said Karma Beach. I took left, then I reached on a restaurant lobby. From this restaurant, I could see the view of Karma Beach as far as I could see down below.

The passage ended up in a restaurant on the top of the cliff. The sky and the sea looked far away.

When taking photo from the edge of restaurant, I could see the beach and some tourists there.

Karma Beach is in South Bali. And it's location is not easy to reach. it's about 80 meters below. To reach it, one must descend the a cliff called the Karma cliff. There were stairs to get down to the beach, but it would take a while to go down. And then it would take more time and energy to go back up. That did not sound like a good idea for me.

I didn't actually descend through the stairs. There's a resort and beach club called called Karma Beach Club, who has a lift to reach the sea shore.

That blue lift is the one taking me down and up.

I felt a little excitement while taking photos from the lift.

The first thing I encounter down was a bar and restaurant with a caution board about potential danger on the beach. This is good because it reminds people to always careful in the beach.

I could hear some music from the bar. A DJ was playing some music while waiters walked everywhere to serve clients. Just a few more steps, I arrived in the restaurant.

The restaurant building is mostly made bamboo and wood. The roof was a thatch roof. The tables and chairs were also from wood.

One table was placed in a round "room".

If people just want to relax and have something drink, here is the place.

I went walking passed the restaurant toward the beach. There were umbrellas and beds where people can lie down, sun bathing, reading or having a drink. I don't like sun bathing. I am Balinese. I see sun almost every single day. I came there for the view, for photography.

I took a walk around the beach to take photos. I must say I have taken more than 50 photos. Just snapping with my Canon G7X with mostly automatic mode.

From the beach, I could see the lift, and the building on the top of the cliff, and the restaurant below.

Look at the lift track from cliff top to the beach.

Would you like a drink?

The girl was one of the staff at Karma beach Club.

I touched the sea water. Boy! It was a bit cold. Being in a tropical country, you would think the water is hot. But to my surprise it was cold.

The waves were not too high.

The sand looked pinkish. I believe it contained red colored coral.

I really like to spend my time there. Just enjoying the view, and listening to the sound of waves made me feel relax. Maybe the sun was a bit hot, but's normal for tropical country. Just prepare a lot of sun cream to protect yourself from sun burnt when you were here.

So, thanks for reading and....
