The Souvenirs Sold at Tanah Lot, Bali

August 2020 · 2 min read · Bali

My family and I were on a visit to Tanah Lot Temple in Bali as I was telling you in my previous post. You may read the post here. Actually, we didn’t enter the temple and didn’t pray there since our religion is not Hindu. We visit Tanah Lot, was to have a look and enjoy the environment as well as the ambience there.

As domestic tourists, we like to see and experience the uniqueness and beauty of a place or destination. As long as we know that Tanah Lot Temple is one of famous destination in Bali Island. I believe anyone who visit Bali, should come to see this temple.

We have seen the temple, and I confess it’s great. I like to see how religious people entered inside the temple and prayed there. My family and I were glad to be there in that such a beautiful milieu, gathered with other visitors.

We liked not only the atmosphere around the temple by the beach, but also the souvenirs sold at many stalls there. We could find many stalls on the right and left sides of the road leading us to the temple. We love to see the beautiful and creatively made souvenirs. That made us really want to buy some of them.

The colorful handmade plates are so wonderful. They are so beautiful, especially the plates written “I Love Bali”.

I could not move my eyes from the plates. But, when I saw a panting I was so excited. It’s a tiger painting. He looked so real.

And my eyes were catching another beautiful painting. It told about the traditional life in Bali Island.

I decided to buy the painting about Bali’s traditional life and two plates. I was satisfied.

Then we moved to the next stalls. I found other beautiful handy crafts. They are Balinese metallic characters?

I was also interested with other plates. They were very well created.

And there were some quotes written on canvases.

While my daughter requested a hat. A pink one. It was so cute.
