Today I'm going to get on a cruise ship, for 2 nights.
Departing from Ilulissat, go in the order of Asiaat
- Sisimuit
- Kangamit
- Maniitsoq
- Nuk
. The docking time varies from city to city, but it usually takes 30 minutes to 2 hours.
The weather is gloomy in the cloudy sky where the sun is unlikely to rise. After showing the ticket and passport to the ship attendant, take the ticket number and board.
It is one of the largest cruises in Greenland's major cities, but it is not very large. There's no such thing as a swimming pool.
I got my seat by the window, and I got a bed downstairs. While I had camping in Ilulissat, I used to visit supermarket and culture center to recharge my electronic products. So I felt so comfortable compared to when I did camping.
First, I organized my luggage and I looked at Ilulissat, the city of glaciers that was moving away. I can't see it already. Glaciers and pieces from them are being pushed down.
First, I arrived at Aasiaat. 30 minutes to stay here! I ran as soon as I got off the cruise ship. I'd like to take a look around this place within 30 minutes.
The first sight of the city was the buildings built between the rocky mountains and the pipes next to them. The tourism industry here is not as advanced as Ilulissat, but it felt like the industry was.

I saw a hill with an apartment. I went up the stairs made of wood hard. Looking down from the top was really cool. I spent some time looking around the hill, and when I looked at my watch, I had 15 minutes left.
I came down and looked around, saying, "I'm going to just look at this," and it felt weird. After calculating the time, 25 minutes have passed, and 5 minutes are left. Five minutes! If I miss the cruise ship here, I lost my backpack, and you have to be locked in here.

I ran like a dog. People who send their families away from the harbor said, "Hey, run fast~~~~"
When I arrived at the pier, the platform leading to the cruise ship had already been raised. I shouted. "Save me~~~~" And the ship attendant on the deck said, "Hey, you're the last passenger who didn't come back, right?" and connected the platform.
After my coming back, the announcement has come out. "Please come back 10 minutes early next time". I almost became an international lost child in Greenland.
