You may be richer than me,
but you will never be free like me

Hello.
I'm traveler @rbaggo
who is finding 'Humanism' in
'Capitalism'

Today I'm going to get up early and look around Ilulissat Port, which I've never been to, and the back of the airport that I've always wondered about. Mosquitoes seemed less active in the early morning. Usually, when I walk around, dozens of mosquitoes follow me, but in the morning, only about ten of them.

Greenland has a city on its glacier-melted shores, and most of them continue to survive through fishing.

Royal Greenland, the form of a public corporation, processes marine products and supplies them to major markets.

The fishing industry is closely related to the lives of the Greenland people, so it is easy to see in terms of culture. For example, sculptures about marine animals were common, and there were many workshops using seal claws or whale teeth that were hunted and obtained.

It was a little expensive, but while I was looking around the workshop, they gave it to me for free because I was a foreigner. Originally, I was thinking of cleaning and trimming it well to make a necklace, but I'm lazy and can't get my hands on it. Ha ha.

If you go outside, you can see this great view.

If you walk a little further from here, there is an Arctic hotel with an artificial igloo. The room with glacier views costs about 200 USD for a day, which is a popular hotel for many tourists.

I decided to go recklessly, stimulating my desire to explore what was behind the airport.

Fishermen must be catching fish here. We could see a lot of fishing gear, and around here we could see the tents they were staying in.

The fish you caught is drying like this.

What does fishing feel like between glaciers?

This is the airport on my way home. The sunset was so beautiful. The sunset and glaciers caught my step.
