Intramuros is a collection of Spanish colonial landmarks and is located west of Manila, and is connected to Fort Santiago and Riwasang Rizal above.

Casa Manila is a house built in the 1850s that displays Spanish colonial furniture, art, and architecture. Passing through the entrance of the building and entering the interior, you can enjoy the stone architecture reminiscent of the time along with the small fountain.

When I visited, I happened to have a friend of mine, Azenith's, working as a guide. As a token of appreciation, you can give some tips for her and hear explanations about this place in English.

Casa Manila

This is the statement on the entrance ticket to Casa Manila. Spain's influence on the language and lifestyle of the Philippines is quite much, but Filipinos don't seem to have much antipathy toward Spain.

Casa Manila

If you walk through Instramuros, you can see a small carriage, and it was like a tour package. I heard that Casa Manila can apply for a ride.

Then he stopped by Iglesia de San Agustnn de Manila. It is a museum adjacent to the iconic church and monastery and houses artifacts and works of art. I couldn't go inside because the entrance was tightly locked, maybe it was a day off.

As we walked around, it was hot, so we stopped by a convenience store to buy a drink that Filipinos drink. 45 Philippine peso(0.9 USD) was included in the bubble tea, and the taste of the drink was amazing.

The last place we visited was Fort Santiago. The entrance has a stone door carved with various patterns. Passing through this place, you will see a park where many statues are standing.

The park is beautifully decorated, so it would be better for garden lovers to visit and take a walk for a while.

At the end of the park facing the sea, there was a fortress wall of Santiago and a small path to take a walk around it. We spent time here and watched the sun set.
