Hello Travelers,
I have been to different parts of the world in which one of my stay was Cairo, Egypt. I went to Egypt in 2007 with my parents as my father was posted to Embassy of Pakistan, Cairo, Egypt and we lived there for 4 years and returned to Pakistan in 2011.
When one say Egypt, first thing comes in the mind is Pyramids. There are several pyramids in Egypt but Pyramids of Giza are the most popular and is included in seven wonders of the world. No doubt, seeing pyramids is jaw dropping and worth watching. One of the best attractions in the world.
I went there twice with Family and once with my friends. It was 30 mins of drive away from my location.
FIRST VISIT
My First visit was in 2008 when my Eldest brother with his family visited us. We went there randomly without any plan, we were out in a shopping mall and my brother told us that we are going to Pyramids now.
It was a sudden plan so hired a taxi and went there. It was a hot day and unfortunately, we do not have much cash in pocket at that moment to buy entry tickets.
So, we roam around outside area and my nephew took a short horse ride. Then lunch at Pizza hut, where we were amazed to have perfect view of Pyramids from rooftop. That was it, we got tired so took Tanga half way home then taxi all the way back.
SECOND VISIT
Second visit was nicely executed and planned. Two of my brothers, one single and other one with family along with my parents went there in 2 cars.
There is entry fee of 100 Egyptian pounds and different fees for different attractions inside Pyramids of Giza however, we had pass from Embassy so we directly entered the premises.
It was a pleasant day and we were all excited. We started walking through the path besides Pyramids, watching big massive stones. Taking pictures and talking to each other regarding how such big stones can be carried without machinery.
This question was so common and one cannot imagine that this all is handmade with no use of machines. Nicely crafted and put together in such a perfect way to form a triangle.
It is no joke that seeing in pictures is totally different while watching pyramids in real is totally different experience.
We come to know different theories regarding creation of these pyramids but none of them is authentic. We are not historians so we just focused on enjoying the environment.
Me & my brother tried to enter the pyramids but it was not that easy. We have to bend as there is not much space. We took some steps forward and returned due to breathing issue with my brother.
I was keen to go inside to find new inventions but unfortunately, returned with my brother empty handed :-P
My father climbed up those big rocks and went little up but I shouted and asked him to stop as it is dangerous. He then took my nephew and went for horse riding.

There were security guards who were very helpful and nice people, also took our pictures. These were not normal pictures, I really liked them.
It did not took longer for us when we realize that we were tired due to dry and hot weather. It was the time to say good bye to PYRAMIDS.
In no time we went outside and had lunch in Pizza hut then way back home.
THIRD VISIT
Third visit was with friends and this time, We did not enter instead enjoyed weather and view from the rooftop of Pizza hut.
