🤟 3 shades of Old Phuket Town [4 of 5]

What is Phuket's fourth attraction and why is it worth seeing?
See for yourself!

Today is the time for the Old Phuket Town!
During the day, colorful and crowded visited by tourists, at night beautifully illuminated and either completely empty, or... fully completed!

The Old Town presents different faces depending on the day of the week and the time.
That's why before you visit it, it's worth checking out what kind of entertainment awaits for you on the spot.

The Old Town of Phuket is not a big area. In fact, life goes on along a single street - Thalang Road, which reminds me of a small China Town.
Prices are overstated, like in other typical tourist destination. That's why I didn't have a café or lunch here during the week.

Instead of this, I was amazed by the colours! Small tenement houses, almost all in different colors, look really charming. Just see for yourself!

For those who like to soak up the atmosphere and enjoy the colors, this place will be really interesting! You can also meet here an interesting street art covering old buildings.

From Monday to Saturday, in the evening, you will find single open shops, a lot of peace and beautifully lit buildings.

Lard Yai or Sunday Walking Street Market

However, if you are looking for something more, visit this place on a late Sunday afternoon. From 16:00 to 22:00, the Sunday Walking Street Market, or if you prefer, Lard Yai is open for visitors.

During this time you can taste many delicious dishes and snacks at a reasonable price.
I used this possibility by myself and I can confirm that the food here is really delicious.
Apart from the kitchen you will also find handicrafts, jewellery and various souvenirs.
Walking Street Market is an attraction that also lures artists so you can listen to good music, see dance performances and even order your portrait.

I visited this place during the week, day and night, and also went to Walking Street on Sunday. With each visit I was discovering a different face of the Old Town of Phuket.

I liked the most the Night Market, which offered not only delicious food, but also many interesting performances by local artists and an unforgettable atmosphere.

This is the fourth of five places to visit in Phuket.
