We're so happy to to take a break from the cold!
This was on our mind for a long time! And we finally landed in a place where it is warm most of the time. COSTA RICA! For as long as we've known to come here, we didn't hardy plan anything. All we knew was that we were goin to a festival and meeting my sister for two days before she and my mom headed out... the rest of the month would be planed as we traveled.
We met in San Jose where my sister had already booked a hotel with a pool for all of us. This was a pretty fancy hotel, not our usual kind of place at all but it was nice to be there and see my mother and sister.
We spent a very lazy day by the pool, found an old cuban restaurant for dinner and went to bed early, We were tired, from a long trip, even the little homie fell asleep at dinner. That was a first for him for sure!
The next day, we saw the Children's Museum. It was really impressive. There was a room where replicas of dinosaurs were animated.
All the different rooms were built really well, it reminded me of the children's museum in Philadelphia. It was really impressive.
We even went shopping in a miniature shop!
The best part was for sure a slanted house... walking through there really makes you dizzy, my sister felt sick, she had vertigo. With a 20 degree slant and funiture, door frames and windows slightly off square, it really plated tricks with our minds!
Little homie got to milk a cow... it reallt squirted out of it's utters. There was a few real chickens in this fake little farm.
That was a fun day we had lunch at a really good place that had farm to table items. Dure it was as pricey as the same type if place in New York but it was eorth it!
Well that's it for our arrival in Costa Rica, after this we will be on our own traveling with too much luggage!!! We had to book a roomnat a hostel to wait gor our friend before going on, out of San Jose...
Untill next time, we may not have internet for the next week!!!
