Back in Camden Town
The first time I have visited Camden Town was back in the day when I cam on Holidays to London. Then a couple of years later I have moved to this city and I was here all the time, at a point I even got a job in Camden Town.
But then we all know that the Pandemic hit us hard, and between that, the lockdowns and the many hours at work I have been away from this area for many years.
It was time to go back and see how everything was looking and I was in for a great surprise.
For sure this market just by the Camden Town Station was a big surprise, I don't know how long they have changed it but it was just an old style market with some vendors and this upgrade have for sure made it look prettier and more appealing to the many tourists that come to visit this area.
Am I an Eternal
Some of this shops, this street and some of the places I am going to show next might be a fun Easter egg for any Marvel Universe fans out there. I am pretty sure that I could look for a list and tell you all the movies that have scenes recorded here.
But the most recent one that I was watching and that was the reason it got me wanting to come back here is the last Marvel movie, "The Eternals". The first battle happen on this street.
From now on every time that I might want to feel like a Marvel superhero I will be going for a walk in here.
I was a little bit afraid that this area like so many others have suffered a lot with with Pandemic and the Lockdowns, but surprisingly I have to say that I almost didn't felt that. The great majority of places were all open and they looked like they were thriving. Also I have to say that with every visit this are just keeps getting better and looking even more beautiful.

Punk/Alternative Camden
If I could choose an image to define the vibes of Camden Town, this one below would be it. Camden Town is well known for the Punk/Alternative lifestyle and they are very proud of it. I have to say that probably I can dig deep and find a similar photo like this from almost 15 years ago when I cam here on Holidays. And this time they caught me with the camera pointing at them. Literally looking into the lens and pointing, unfortunately I didn't have any cash with me.
This gentlemen below is another one of the usual faces you will see when you visit Camden Town. I have never took the time to try and capture him before. But this time when I got there this was a composition that I saw, how could I not try to capture this scene? I had to.
You will seen many people advertising Tattoo and Piercing studios because around this area there are a lot. I am not saying that the artists in this places are bad (I got my tattoo in here remember), but be careful, because for sure you can find other amazing tattoo studios for way more affordable prices.
Because of the fame this area have for their alternative style, artists and studios tend to amp up the prices, also because there are so many tourists in holidays, that when are feeling the energy of the place get excited and just go with the flow.

It is a huge battle between shops to see who call the attention the most. I have to say that many of this are classics that have been here for decades, it is almost impossible for them to change because it is their branding and people come to Camden Town to see it, but when there is a new shop opening it is always excited to see what will they come up with. You have here a new one I haven't seen before. Simple but effective, Rayban wanted to keep the posh/expensive look.
