A walk by the coast
Spinola Bay
It is time to explore Malta a little bit more.
And believe me when I say, that the first impression was fantastic. So here I go, walking around and I decide to walk by the coast, in St. Julian's area, just to discover the Spinola Bay and the Balluta Bay.
One just next to the other, both beautiful in their own way, so similar but so different.
At each turn you get to see sights that are more beautiful than the previous one, even when you think that you already saw the most beautiful views in Malta.
In each Bay and all over the coast you get to see a lot of bigger and more modern boats, sailing boats, yachts but it is so much fun to see the older and more typical older boats. You get to see many of these as well.
They just make the sights even more beautiful and it is awesome to appreciate all the details.
As you keep walking up the coast you get a better view from the Mediterranean Sea, and to be honest with you, has been a long time since I have put eyes on this beauty. It took my breath away. Over and over again, during my time in Malta.
As we keep walking you can come and explore Malta with me because we are about to leave the Spinola Bay and find a whole other beautiful Bay. And here I was thinking that I was about to get bored, for my surprise.
Calluta Bay
If there is a star in Calluta Bay, that would be this Church.
The Knisja tal-Karmnu, also known as the Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. This Church is located in the charming village of Balluta Bay, this historic church is a sight to behold. Its stunning facade, adorned with intricate details and a grand bell tower, captures the essence of Maltese architecture. This church holds great significance for the local community, as it is dedicated to the patron saint of fishermen, Our Lady of Mount Carmel. Every year, in July, the village comes alive with celebrations during the Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. If you appreciate cultural landmarks, a visit to the Knisja tal-Karmnu is sure to captivate your heart. Don't forget to take plenty of photos to capture the magic of this enchanting destination!
The view from the Calluta Bay was amazing but I have decided to focus in this sight, since it is so beautiful.
The Maltese People
Some like bird watching, I prefer people watching.
Without being too invasive, I really like to try and capture some of the locals and maybe even other tourists.
And when you are in a new place you have never visited before, it is really awesome to see how different or how similar people go by with their days.
Enjoy some of the moments I have captured around Spinola and Calluta Bay.
Creating ART
Don't get me wrong. Each click and each photo can be considered art.
On my travels and specifically in my first visit to Malta, I wanted to focus on trying to create some pieces for my NFT and Photography collections.
They will be available to be collected and I came out with some photos that I think it will be great.
These are just a couple from this area.
But we are not here to talk about NFTs.
What matters is that Spinola and Calluta Bay are 2 places just next to each other that I would recommend you to walk by.
This is also a very touristic area, so you will be able to find many restaurants, coffees and bars for a stop.
So you can enjoy the area and the sights sitting down from one of those places.
Visiting Malta
I never thought that I wanted to visit Malta, it never came to my mind.
But now that I have visited, I feel that I need to go back and spend more time in there.
Explore even more the Islands and it's beauty.
