Quick and Instant coffee

Looks great from the outside
Looks great from the outside

Here I am. If you have read my previous Blog post from yesterday you know what I am talking about. I finally made it to the Boogaloo. The plan was to come to this place yesterday, to try the coffee and get some work done. Because it was so busy I had to change the plan but as I was passing by today looking for a place to work, I have noticed that the place had only a couple of customers and looked very empty. Ideal to work on some photos.

And I am not the only one in here getting some work, there are some other people sitting around in the laptops probably working on some content I would say.

The Pub is really spacious and nice, there is a beer garden if you want to get some fresh air. a lot of sitting areas and a jukebox that you can go and pick a song. This place have a really big connection with music.

There is an old music studio and radio, you've guessed it. The Boogaloo Radio, and that's why there are many live music events in this pub and specially during the weekends the place is always packed and the party is always at it's best.

You can also come with friends and play some board games while you sit by the fireplace. That give a very calming and chilling vibes to the place during the day.

The decoration around the room made the place look very nice and the sense of humour in some of the details just gave the place even more personality. Sometimes small details are enough to make a huge difference.

Do you want to play?

Did you ever went to the Pub with friends to play boardgames. That is something I wouldn't choose myself but I have some friends that really enjoy it so I have done it more than once. Maybe I have to tell them to come visit and we can give it a try for a games afternoon party.

Tell me which game would you like to play if I would invite you to come and join?

The fire was crackling

Having a real fireplace specially as open like this is always very dangerous at my eye. Imagine you have kids with you and you decide to stop here for a quick break because it is cold outside, it seems like a disaster ready to happen.

And before anyone ask me this, yes, that was real fire.

Since the environment was so nice I ended up staying longer than I thought and not going anywhere else. Wanted to do some other stuff today but instead and because I was so comfortable just did all the work I wanted to do for today in here.

I wanted to go and pick something to play but I was feeling a little bit shy, so I didn't go.

But maybe next weekend I might go visit for a pint and a boogie. Many nights after I finished my shift I have passed by on my way home and the place always seem very exciting and super fun.

Let's talk coffee

Went to the bar to order, and when I asked for a coffee she told me straight away that the coffee beans have finished. But that she could serve an instant coffee. Was I mad? A little bit. Because I had already drank 3 instant coffees at home and I could have drank another one, instead for spending so much money in one of this outside.

For my surprise the coffee was actually delicious, way better than many other coffee shops that specialise in serving coffee. So as soon as I started drinking the coffee I stopped being mad.

Since this is local to me I am pretty sure I will be back in here for some other working sessions. Now I need to come and try the nights out.

It is true that I ended up paying £2.5 for this coffee. For an instant coffee it is way more expensive than it should be. For that price you buy a whole package of instant coffee to have at home and you have coffee for at least a week, if you drink as much coffee as I do. If you drink coffee like a normal person probably it will last you way longer. I am not sure which brand they used but at least it didn't taste like one of those really cheap and weak blends of coffee.
