Vanilla Cafe, time for a break

Vanilla Cafe, time for a break

It is time for another coffee break

Looks cute from the outside
Looks cute from the outside

Here I was once again just walking around my local area looking for a nice place to take some photos, and I did. I went to the Highgate Woods and captured some nice photos. But believe me, it was a very cold day and I was freezing after a photography walk in the woods. So I have decided that before go home I wanted to sit somewhere warm and have a nice coffee to warm up and also check the photos I have just taken. And the Vanilla Cafe outdoors caught my eye, so here I go.

Cosy vibes

From the decoration to the homemade menu, the place was giving me a very family like, local, cute vibes. It is not a large place but it looks awesome and the relaxing, chill music playing on the background created an even better environment. It was exactly what I was looking for in this moment.

Almost like a "Portuguese" Coffee Shop

So in case you still don't know, I am Portuguese, and the Coffee Shop culture in Portugal is something huge, we have coffee shops every second door. When I have entered this one I got very similar vibes, from the decorations to the furniture, to the way it was organised. If you ever been in a coffee shop in Portugal let me know if you agree with me when you see this photos.

Now let's talk coffee

White Americano

My expectations were kind of high, and that was my mistake, because I don't know why do I still keep hoping to find nice coffee blends here in the UK, you would think that after 10 years I would know it is almost impossible. But in this case once again, it was just alright, another Americano like everywhere else. Can't talk anything bad about it but also can't really give any extra praises to the coffee.

Will visit again

In the end I have to say, that if it was further away I would not make a trip to go to Vanilla Cafe on purpose, but since it is in my local area, it is for sure on my top 3 favourite places to go for a coffee and chill.

I am excited to be getting out there to check for more new places to share and I hope I will find some good places you can visit as well.
