Ye Olde London, British Pub

Ye Olde London, British Pub

Retuning to an old work place

To come and visit this place today is was definitely not part of the plan, and the reason why it is because I actually know this place quite well, I have worked in this place for a period of my life many years ago.

But since I was walking around with a friend and we were looking for a place to grab a drink and a snack we actually thought it would be fun for me to pop in once again, since I have not returned to the Ye Olde London since I have quit the job.

So that's what we have done. And I was pleasantly surprised. Everything looked the same and it felt so familiar.

This is another traditional British Pub so you will get a very limited menu that you can get in the majority of the British Pubs all around. There are a good selection of different beers, wines and spirits that you can pick from.

This basement are can sit a lot of people and although the ceilings are low the area is very big and comfy. Also on this floor you can access to a great beer garden area that is super nice during summer. So you can grab a fresh drink and just chill, specially if you are a smoker this is a great plus.

We grabbed a couple of ciders to start and the Vegetarian platter to share, since we just wanted to grab a snack. I feel that since I have worked here the pub have been bought by a different pub chain. But other than that everything looked the same as before.

The food was great, my friend grabbed another cider and I went for a glass of wine. We have spent there some time talking and just getting all the gossip. I have told her some stories from when I used to work in this place.

In the end was actually really nice to stop in here after so many years.

Now I know that if I am in the area again this is still a place where I can stop to grab a drink and spend a good time.
