It was the best choice in terms of location and amenities offered. My son @saif-ul-wahab took charge of calling the hotel on our way there to get all necessary information regarding room availability and rent. The staff on the phone were extremely courteous and accommodating, offering to make arrangements for us when we arrive in just 30 minutes. Our family consists of two adults and three growing children, so we needed a comfortable family room for them and a double room for us parents. As we reached the hotel's parking lot, we were surprised to see that the 3-storey underground parking lot was completely full! We had no option but to park our car on the road nearby as there was no space in the station right in front of it either. Despite this minor inconvenience, we were excited about our stay here at Quality Hotel Match with hopes that it would be a memorable one filled with comfort, luxury and fun activities throughout!

Sofiakyrkan Jönköping

Due to the parking far we got to see Sofia Church from outside.

This 18th century church is a landmark of the city of Jönköping. And after seeing its beautiful building from outside, we were curious to see it inside, but as it was getting late, we decided to explore this church another day and it was also an excuse to visit Jönköping town again.

Excitement turned into disappointment

When we arrived at the hotel, our excitement turned into disappointment when the front desk staff informed us that all rooms were booked. They offered standard rooms that were quite congested, but something seemed off about their response. My son had called only 15 minutes ago and was told there were empty rooms available at the quoted price over the phone. I didn't appreciate their attitude and knew it would worsen my mood if I stayed any longer. So, without hesitation, I took back my ID card and decided to look for another hotel.

How a Positive Attitude Can Transform PR and Front Desk Services

That's when we stumbled upon Scandic Hotel, a bright light shining in contrast to our previous experience.

The front desk staff greeted us with warm smiles and within minutes we checked into a comfortable room without any issues or complications whatsoever.

The room itself was spacious yet cosy enough for us to feel comfortable during our stay here in this beautiful city.

It's amazing how one kind gesture can turn around an entire day!
