Sacred spring of Manghopir or superstition?

I had a skin condition as a child, along with my three younger brothers. Nearly every dermatologist and skin specialist in the city was consulted by my father for treatment. The body rash and acne, however, did not go away. It was an unpleasant period.

Then my father heard about Manghopir from someone.
One of Karachi's oldest area, Manghopir, is located close to Gadap Town.
Manghopir shrine, a large pond, hot and cold spring are what make this ancient shrine special. Numerous crocodiles live in the pond and are frequently fed by shrine visitors.
The crocodiles, in their opinion, are representations of the Sufi saint.

Pir Mangho was a member of the Sheedi/Makrani ethnic group. During the 17th century, Arabs and Persians bring African slaves to this area and later on they established this town.

There is also a small market between the shrine and the pond.

Three Chokundi style tombs are also present here.

A friend of my father advised him that if the children were bathed in the Manghopir hot spring, this skin disease of the children could be cured. According to him, many people have benefited from it.
My father who, despite not believing in superstition, agreed to the practice for the sake of the children.

Surprisingly, after a few days of bathing in this hot water spring, all four of us got rid of itching and rashes.

I was confused for ages as to how this was possible. Almost 30 years have passed since that. And this year I have come to Karachi with my son. And I want to show @saif-ul-wahab this shrine. But I don't want to lead them into superstition by narrating my childhood story related to this shrine. Then I started a Google search about this hot spring. And I have learned from numerous websites that, Soaking is hot natural sulfur springs is one of the best ways to naturally detox your skin. The high concentration of silica in the water also helps to soften rough or dry skin. Additionally, it has been demonstrated that the mineral component of sulfur springs can aid with chronic skin diseases like psoriasis, acne, and eczema.

We live in a scientific age where arguments and facts are sought for every event and theory, but despite this, superstition is common in the developed nations of the world too.
Keep yourself away from superstition. Try to find the facts through research as much as possible.
