June 2019 · 3 min read

Have a nice day! In summer, when it's hot outside, many of us like to drink kvass. Try this cool delicious drink in a big way this weekend decided in Krasnodar.

On the Main square of the city there was a mini-festival of kvass. Guests were waiting for an interesting concert program, competitions and, of course, tasting fragrant and delicious drink.

Traditionally in Russia kvass was perceived not only as a drink, but was also used as a dressing for such cold soups such as okroshka.

According to the Chronicles, the first mention of kvass refers to the end of the X century. Today, scientists have already found that kvass, prepared according to the classical recipe, quenches thirst due to the amino acids and carbon dioxide contained in it. In addition, it has bactericidal properties and kills "pests" in the body.

Organizers for Krasnodar residents and guests of the Kuban capital have prepared a lot of surprises. Beautifully decorated area, hung flags, set the stage...

Treated to old-Fashioned kvass. Wishing to try it, too, was a lot.

There was also the largest glass of Russia, which recently entered the Guinness book of records.

Its capacity is about 5 000 liters, and the size of the structure together with the podium is more than 6 meters.

Different bands performed at the festival, but many just rested on wooden floorings.

Here you could see the fair of farm products, cooking classes and crafts of folk artists.

Whatever it was, look at this variety.

Of course, the master brought, and here are the mugs and glasses of beer and kvass.

Here and there you could see and walking fun glasses, though without the brew :-)

Guests were able to taste delicious muffin. Cakes and buns were here with a variety of fillings...

Jewelry, too, was a long. Original homemade buttons, jewelry made of clay and various handmade Souvenirs.

And I was fascinated by these hedgehogs. Especially the one with the ice cream.

They were very pretty and sweet. Yes, and by such long-eared mice are unable to pass :-)

At the fair, you could buy the smallest brownie.

Admire the beautiful compositions of herbs and Talash, jute and straw.
