The 2019 Conmebol America Cup (Copa América in Spanish) is being held in Brazil since June 14. I watched the Venezuela - Brazil match that took place at the Arena Fonte Nova stadium in Salvador de Bahía yesterday and it was inevitable to remember my visit to that sports venue during the 2014 FIFA World Cup, so once the match was over (tied 0-0) I encouraged to write these lines and of course to share some photos.
Arena Fonte Nova
I was in Salvador just one day, I went with my husband especially to watch the Spain - Netherlands match that was held on June 13 at the Arena Fonte Nova. We were in Rio de Janeiro, but we got to buy tickets for that game, so we took a flight. It is an event that I always remember with a lot of love, because I attended due to the insistence of my husband and I did not expect to enjoy it so much. Going to a World Cup was a dream for him, but I was surprised by the excitement of the fans and the wonderful energy that there was from the airport to the stadium. Joy everywhere! I loved it and of course I enjoy football more now.
Photo from the bus
There was good organization, some buses were available at the airport to transport those who had tickets to the game. We arrived early at the stadium, so I continued to take pictures: players, stands, screen and more. The decoration was allusive to the event "2014 Cup", I think this made the place more attractive.

When there were just a few minutes until the game started, it seemed that there would not be so people, but the fans were still in line to enter. In a few minutes the stadium was full, the orange color prevailed, there were many Dutch supporting their team.

The Spanish also attended the event, they were happy to wave their flag.
Here I show you more photos of the stadium and the match. Netherlands got the victory 5-1.

As I mentioned earlier the stadium looked very nice with the colors alluding to the 2014 world cup, the external areas also had posters as we can see in the following photo:
I liked the infrastructure, it has good capacity and it is easy to access. In a few minutes the stands were full of spectators.
To finish, I share a photo of the ball, I added the black and white effect, I think it highlights the beautiful lines of the design.
