The visiting hours to this place is from 8AM. Till 5 PM. But do make sure to have enough time to get nostalgic with the fort tour.

Made out of sandstone and marble, Amber Fort consists of a series of four courtyards, palaces, halls, and gardens. At its entrance lies the primary courtyard, known as Jaleb Chowk. It's here that the king's soldiers assembled and paraded themselves around. Suraj Pol (Sun Gate) and Chand Pol (Moon Gate) lead into this courtyard.

Amer is epitome of Rajput royalty and culture. Amer fort is perfect example of Rajput Military Hill architecture. Strategically built over ‘Cheel ka Teela’ (meaning home of high flying hawks), it signifies the elevation of the fort.

However reaching to top is pretty tiring if you choose to walk on your foot. It has long pathway till running down from the entrance till the public road at bottom.
