#1 ARGENTINA #3 – Patagonias colossal field of ice and snow

Our first featured post is from @digi-me, she's at Argentina, and went on a glacier excursion. The glacier of Perito Moreno is the world's 3rd largest ice mass and unlike other glaciers, is actually growing by about 2m a day. The excursion starts with a bus ride, followed by a boat trip across a lake to start a 2 hour hike. It was quite a challenging hike, walking in crampons on the large moving glacier. She could actually hear the ice creak beneath her as she walked. The return journey was much more comfortable. It was a boat trip to the other side of the glacier. There were proper viewing platforms and walkways here, and visitors could get closer to the glaciers to watch the big chunks of ice crashing into the water.

#2 Travel diaries 4: Being a guest in Georgian house

@ctdots was in Georgia and met some really friendly locals who were all too happy to invite him to their home. The first was a taxi driver who had driven him around Tbilisi the previous day. Both the taxi driver and his wife were very passionate hosts, and wined and dined him and his friends with local food and drink. After the meal, his host and brother accompanied him to the minibus stop only to get into a fight because they tried to get @ctdots and his party a seat on the minibus. When @ctdots got to Kutaisi and was looking for accommodation, again the locals came to help and they were driven around town by a stranger till finally they arrived safely at another stranger's house.

#3 Wonders one could enjoy in a day in Northwestern Bulgaria

Our last post is from @lightcaptured, he took his friends (and us) to see some beautiful nature spots around Bulgaria. They drove a hundred kilometers to the Stara Planina mountain. The landscape here is stunning, a combination of man made features such as the long railway line that snakes along the river and the quarry which I think looks like a massive open theatre. As to nature, there is The Eyes of God, you really need to check out his post to see what this is. Not sure about you all, but I certainly enjoyed the trip.
