Positano, a village located on the steep cliffs in the Amalfi Coast. Well known for its beautiful beaches, the drive through the Amalfi route, and the wonderful lemons that grow in this part of Italy. We travelled by ferry and came up to a surprisingly grand view of Positano spread wide along the cliffs along the beach.
Stepping off from the ferry, the first sight is of Positano's infamous buildings cascading down the cliff. The colorful buildings stretch way up to the mountain that surrounds the town protecting it from harm's way.
The other side of Positano where the quieter part of town lies. This stretch was less populated with tourists.
Heading towards the top, we followed where our heart led us to. With no destination in mind, we took to the roads through these small alleys.
Always finding beautiful places by mistake brings you over the moon, keeping the exploration exciting. Between the narrow alleyways, flowers were blooming, paving us ways to beautiful hotel fronts.
Being where lemons flourish, lemons dangle above your head on trees, washing you with the scent of citrus spring afternoon.
A sip of lemon
After walking through alleyways and watching others take rests in between, our legs were asking for a seat. We found an outdoor seating available in a restaurant / bar called "La Zagara."
When in Positano, bask in the sunlight as much as you can and try all things lemon based.

We ordered a Lemon Peroni and a Lemon Sorbet.
No words can describe how cooling and refreshing the lemon sorbet was. The secret must be that its made from the lemon from Positano.
