France is the country of origin for brands with high price tags. Well known luxury brands reside in all the nooks and cranny of the French streets and Michelin starred restaurants reign supreme. Among all the stars, lies a small little falafel restaurant in the Le Marais region. Once a Jewish community, the Falafel restaurant sprouted from the demands of the society.

Located near the Pompidou Museum, this restaurant is a quick bite and a stop from all the artistic cravings you've alleviated from.

The Marais & Pompidou

The Marais region houses small yet architecturally interesting curation stores. Also global brands have smaller pop up stores and experimental stores available for the hipster demographic that visit the area. Chanel has a store with its own courtyard that has a metallic statue that shouts the name CHANEL.

Nike has an experimental lab selling items and SKUs unavailable elsewhere. Some of the items were extreme avant garde and highly unwearable to my view.

And of course, the world renown Pompidou Museum. Most famous for its exterior design where the designers Renzo Piano and Richard Rogers made sure to show all of the building's internal intricacies by placing them outside. This 20th-century architectural marvel, is embellished outside with escalators and enormous colored turbines and ventilation tubes.

In between the modern designs and hipster stores, a humble Fallafel store is open to get its orders to serve a takeaway meal. The store has a open window with a service area on the left side of its store. So takeaway customers can order without having to go through the hassle of entering and bumping into seated customers. The store is St.Patrick's day green so you won't miss it by any chance.

The sandwich contains a super creamy hummus, vegetable fallafel fried to crisp, pickled cabbage and the harissa sauce that brings the kick in. These all time goodies are a mere 6.5 Euros. Not your Michelin starred meal, but one that is worth your time and money.
