Sauraha has been a place for cultural, natural and economical significance. The town being one of the major attraction In the country, recieves thousands of local and international tourist each year. While at the moment because of lockdown and corna virus, there's only the silence in the market.

As, it's also my home town. It has been an absolute sadness to see the market and meet people when I visited the town after the lockdown. I hope the streets of Sauraha will see the good times, and people again.

The aboroginal tharu community has been a trademark for the local community. The hospitality, and the respectful atmosphere in the local community will make visitors journey a life-time exploration . And, the serene beautiful experiences of wilderness, humbleness, and diversity overwhelms them on their visit.
