Summer, Monsoon, and the Outskirts of My hometown.

July 2020 · 2 min read · Nepal

The month of July in Nepal starts with extreme heat, while the monsoon comes along to comfort everyone. The monsoon also provides beautiful landscapes view, and also serene view of farmlands. It was getting extreme heat, and I wanted to escape and enjoy cool climatic conditions. So, to enjoy the beautiful serene landscpes with waterfall, I made my journey to the north-side outskirts of my hometown. The home-town being surrounded by hills provides an exquisite view of villages, landscapes, and waterfalls.

As we move away from the home-town, small beautiful villages can be seen with tall-green hills in front with misty air. The people of the villages were busy on managing their harvested main cashcrops i.e.maize. The lifestyle of the villages depends on agriculture, and animal husbandry.

The roadway towards the hill goes through a jungle, and the villages. As, it's monsoon climatic conditions here in Nepal, local farmers can be seen doing paddy plantation. While the green forest are treat to the eyes. The local forests are usually community forest, that are protected and preserved by the local community and are a source of livelihood for local people.

The hill-side welcomes everyone with streams, waterfall, and the landscape provides a getaway experience to heart from daily hurdles. The base of the hills usually gets filled with the young people bathing, and enjoying the natural water of the waterfalls.

The monsoon quite seems to control the heat for now. The agricultural farms looks green, and the green landcapes looks satisfying for a travel journey. It was a lively traveling experience getting more close to the nature, people, and lifestyle.
