VISITING OMADAL ISLAND
Omadal Island was a consider one of lost island in Semporna. It's not because it was lost from the ground , but most of the youngster and the people of Omadal has migrate to Semporna town , about 1 hour travel by speed boat.
I was so lucky for being given a chance visiting this Island by the Nipah mat team lead by Elaina. Her mission is to connected map made from people of sea which made in Omadal Island with map made from land people that base in Keningau at the middle of Borneo.
I meet the team when i was visiting Lepa lepa festival in semporna and hitchhike with them for the next adventure. Lepa lepa festival is a yearly festival for sea people in Semporna , Sabah , Malaysia. I ll write my journey about it in my next post.

The first day arrival in Omadal , we done nothing . Just hang around the nearest beach , play with local especially the kid because most of the kid was very curious because not many outsider come here and tourist is very rare to come except for their personal request.

ABOUT THE TRAVEL
Few years back before pandemic , Im was lucky enough to travel solo in most places in ASEAN about 2 years . It was a full of good memory and great experience to learn the different culture, language and religion . I make a lot of new friend which has become my best buddy until now.
I going back to my country in Malaysia after my travel insurances was expired . When i come back to my home town , i share my experience in photography and taking picture for my fulltime job. The pandemic hit my country hard and all the photographer has no job until now , which give me much time to write about my travel journey in travelfeed.io for my documentation.
Previously i share my story in another community , but recently i realize that i should share my story in @asean.hive community which tell more story about ASEAN people and a lot picture to be share. I also allocated a little percent of every story beneficiaries to giving back for the community.
