Dear users,

When it rains it pours!

Many users asked us if we're going to migrate to Hive, to keep it short, it's complicated and at this point, we can't make a decision. There are many variables which haven't been addressed yet and we're staying put until we know more.

Additionally, team members are in India right now facing some extraordinary circumstances because of the COVID-19 Virus. Our main focus right now is to make sure that they're safe, especially for the weeks and months to come.

We haven't been able to make any changes to TravelFeed.io, the platform remains fully functional and published articles will go to Steem unless you choose a custom node via Keychain in which case the post will get published to Hive, but won't appear on TravelFeed.io.

Our witness server still runs 22.1, we haven't been able to update to 23.0 and are currently not producing blocks on Hive.

Thank you for your understanding and thank you for being part of TravelFeed.io

500 Steem CoVID19 Travel Writing Contest

Write about the CoVID19 and submit the article before April 11th.

Tell us what's the situation in your country/city/area where you live. Share some basic info on how many people are infected, what is being done to prevent the virus from spreading, is it relatively safe to travel there, etc. You can share your own opinion, info from official sources, etc. Keep it simple, but informative.

How To Participate

How to Get Involved?

Are you not on TravelFeed yet? We invite you to check out TravelFeed.io and to join over 1000 travelers on our Discord community. We’re also looking for one more curator to join our team.

We’re in Beta and continuously improve TravelFeed, meaning that there are still some bugs. If you notice anything or have feedback for us, please don’t hesitate to contact us on Discord, leave a comment or open a bug report on Github!

Consider Delegating To Us

Your delegation not only supports the growth of this incredible project, but also helps the entire travel community on the Steem blockchain. Once we launch our token, the airdrop to delegators will be based on the amount of SteemPower delegated and your share of the total delegations for each day delegated. This means an advantage for early investors delegating now. Our Steem Power is fully used for curation of the best TravelFeed posts and we provide temporary delegations to accounts created through us, to help with resource credits. Feel free to use the following links according to the amount you would like to delegate to @travelfeed:

100 SP | 250 SP | 500 SP | 1000 SP
2500 SP | 5000 SP | 10000 SP
15000 SP | 25000 SP
50000 SP

And again, we'd like to thank every single delegator who believes and trusts in us. If TravelFeed becomes as successful as we are confident it will be, delegating to us is probably the investment with the highest ROI on Steem right now.

Tasmania highlights (January 2020) written by @mrhill

We left Sydney for Tasmania at the end of December and arrived on January 6th. This was when the bushfire season in NSW and Victoria was at its worst which meant that we were forced to back-track a bit and change our plans. We travelled down in our beloved camper Toots, so we were able to be flexible with our plans. We caught the ferry from Melbourne to Devonport on January 6th and so our Tasmanian adventure began!

Coronavirus Situation In Romania written by @erikah

Hospitals are in lockdown, only critical patients and emergencies are treated. There's a big tent set up in the courtyard of the hospital, that's the triage area. My dad has an appointment for surgery on the 27th of March, that will not happen and I guess he's now on a waiting list till the situation goes back to normal, whenever that may be

Coronavirus update, Cape coast South Africa written by @julianhorack

Hey there fellow citizens of a world less traveled, especially now that we are all quarantined or under lockdown of some sort or the other. The #covid-19 situation is affecting every one of us on the planet right now. This is a global pandemic – or so the WHO says.
