We started our journey from Vienna with a direct flight to Bangkok which takes about 12 hours.
We arrived in bangkok at 5 o'clock in the morning. Unfortunately, we had to wait about 6 hours for our connecting flight to krabi. Finally arrived in Krabi we took a minibus to a boat dock at the sea. From there we went with a speedboat to koh lanta. At the port we drove with a taxi to our small but nice hotel.

We stay in the lanta pavilion resort, which is pretty in the middle of the island. The hotel was typically Thai-Style. At the hotel you could rent a scooter, book the onward journey, get a massage, etc.. We stayed 3 days on Koh Lanta and explore the island with our rented scooter. At Koh Lanta there are over the entire island restaurants and shopping possibilities like on the mainland. The beaches are very beautiful and the water has a pleasantly warm temperature.
In summary, koh lanta is a nice little island where enough restaurants, shops, etc. are available and is ideal for a stay of 3-5 days.

Then we went with the speedboat from koh lanta to koh ngai. The transfer takes about 1.5 hours.
Koh Ngai is a very small island in the middle of the andaman sea. The island is gorgeous with beautiful almost white sand beach and beautiful turquoise blue sea.
There are only 5 or 6 different hotels on the island. The island can only be reached by speedboat. The prices for the nights are a bit expensive. The prices for food and drinks are about 50-70% more expensive than on the mainland or on Phuket, Koh Lanta, etc. because all food must be transported by boat.
We stayed at Koh Ngai Fantasy Resort which is in the middle of the main beach. The hotel complex is nestled in the middle of the tropical environment. From the balcony we could see different birds and look into the tropical forest. Connected to the hotel there is a restaurant, a bar as well as a massage studio and a spa.
Around the island there is a footpath over which you can reach the other beaches. From these you can also reach various snorkeling spots. The underwater world was beautiful with numerous fish and corals. On the island live also some monitor lizards, which have a size of up to 1,5m.

After 5 days on Koh Ngai we took the speedboat to Koh Yao Yai. The transfer takes about 2.5-3 hours.
Koh Yao Yai is located in the east of Phuket. The island itself is still little developed touristically. There are only a few luxury resorts on the island and a few smaller hotels or guesthouses.
We stayed at Santhiya Koh Yao Yai Resort & Spa. This resort was just amazingly beautiful. The service and the rooms were excellent. In the hotel there was the possibility to eat in several restaurants. There are also several bars with live music, etc.. The hotel has a main pool with waterfall and an infinity pool on the hillside which was amazing.
To get over the island we rented a scooter outside the hotel. We drove with the scooter over the entire island. We visited several beaches, the Hua laem beach is highly recommended. Beautiful beach which is suitable as an excellent photo opportunity. All over the island are scattered small villages, where you can still observe the original population which are mainly fishermen.

After 3 days we went with the speedboat to our last destination to Phuket where we stayed at the Dewa Hotel. The transfer takes about 0.5 hours.
The Dewa Hotel is located in the north of Phuket near the airport. The hotel is located in the middle of a nature reserve and the environment is not typical Phuket like Patong. As a result, few tourists are found and the environment is quite quiet.
The hotel area was just great. We had a spacious room with a private pool. The beach is opposite a road and is about 5 minutes away. The beach was very quiet and little visited. The flow of the sea is very strong and you have to be careful.

After only one night we had to leave already. We flew from Phuket to Bangkok and after a few hours stopover we went back to Vienna with a direct flight.
Our holiday in Thailand was great and we are looking forward to a speedy return.
