Coronavirus situation in Bacolod City - UPDATE #1

Coronavirus situation in Bacolod City - UPDATE #1

March 2020 · 4 min read · Bacolod

Hello everyone! I've already completed my 14-day self-quarantine, and I'm heading out for an essential reason. Before the enhance community quarantine or "lockdown" begins Monday, I get the chance to finally "smell" the outside for the first time in two weeks. Anyways, I'm sharing to you my story on what is happening around Bacolod City while riding a car with my sister.

Since I'm running out of my high-quality immune boosting supplements that are US-made, I have to go to my friend who is a licensed distributor. His name is Rady. As I'm waiting for my sister to come outside of our gate, I called Rady about our meetup place and it's Check Inn Hotel near the Bacolod Old City Hall.

There are some roads in Bacolod City that are almost empty. However, in the main road, there's not much traffic (except coming out of Fortune Towne with three fire trucks passing by because of a classroom fire in Barangay Taculing).

As my sister parked outside of Check Inn Hotel, I wasted no time to meet Rady there to receive my order of high quality immune boosting supplements known as Usana Cellsentials. Before going inside of the lobby, there's a sign that we need to wear mask at all times and sanitize our hands and feet.

I briefly chatted to him and his beautiful colleague for around 5 minutes. We haven't seen each other for two weeks because of my quarantine period. I made a quick selfie with them and my goodbyes before heading back to my sister's car.

Finally! My immune boosting supplements!
Finally! My immune boosting supplements!

I've taken Usana Cellsentials for more than 5 years to boost and maintain my immune system, and it's definitely effective because of 96.3% absorption rate into my blood stream with no side effects and has US-made natural ingredients. On top of that, it has better sleep quality and metabolism, extra stamina, anti-aging effects, prevents constipation and prescribed by doctors in top-notch hospitals worldwide.

I strongly believe that by having a strong immune system, it would definitely fight off the virus once and for all. My entire family is taking these supplements regularly, which is why my mom is very active even if self-quarantined.

After my brief meetup with Rady, my sister and I are checking to see if Dakasi, ShareTea and other milk tea stores are open. Unfortunately, they're all closed too early.

Since my sister and I are very hungry, we are looking for fastfood restaurants that are open for take-out deliveries. We initially tried various McDonald's branches. However, most of them are totally closed and one branch in the East is having lots of cars lining up.

After giving up with McDonald's, we tried Jollibee instead. Luckily, there's an open branch for drive-thru at the Negros Cyber Center. However, it took us less than 20 minutes to finally order the meals. For both of us, we ordered a combo meal that composed of Regular Yum (hamburger), spaghetti and a choice of Regular Coke or Coke Float.

She also has an important purpose, in which we need to go to Fortune Towne and East side to deliver the ice scramble orders to her clients. We ate our Jollibee meals while she waits for her ice scramble client to come out of her residence.

As what I have seen in the Savemore supermarket in Fortune Towne, these people who fall in line are still close to each other and not practicing the social distance measures!

I thought that our city mayor is ordering all passenger jeepneys to implement social distancing for passengers. However, I've seen this jeepney in the picture who is not following the government's orders. Since lockdown is on Monday, all modes of public transportation are suspended.

After more than two hours, we got home safely. I'm a bit happy of coming out for the first time after two weeks of self-quarantine, but for an essential reason. I make sure that I maintained my proper hygiene after receiving the product from Rady by washing with alcohol.

It's because I'm running out of supplements, I need to re-supply myself. I can't live without a day of taking Usana Cellsentials! At least, I have shared to you about our latest situation in Bacolod City before the enhanced community quarantine, or simply what we call as "lockdown".
