Hello Steemitverse!
I will take you to Tam-Awan Village, a popular tourist destination at Baguio City, Philippines for my participation in “A City A Story Weekly Contest” for this week’s theme - Stairs.
Tam-Awan Village, Garden in the Sky was designed by the local artist to showcase the art and cultural heritage of Cordillera. Located at Long long Benguet Road Pinsao Proper, Baguio City.
When you reach the place, you should buy the entrance ticket; 50.00 pesos for adult and 30.00 pesos for student while 20.00 for kids.
It was rainy afternoon, foggy and the ground was slippery. Caution is recommended when going up the trail to explore the area.
There are lots of turns and pathways, mostly was going up through the stairs which are quite steep and narrow, others are rocky and tricky but there is one which was concrete and dry near the gallery area.
The village has several Ifugao huts and Kalinga houses resembling the traditional Cordillera Village.

The place also exhibits various form of arts with pride of every artist in the different galleries.
And if you really want to experience a glimpse of the traditional Cordillera life, you can stay in one of their native houses for a certain fee for overnight or depending on how long you want to engage in the village. They have cafe that can cater for you, souvenir shops made delicately by creative hands of the locals and appreciate arts in every corner of the Tam-Awan, which means Vintage Point.
Thank you and have a good day!
