Dear Steemians, today I have a report about another stopover on my journey through Vietnam for you again! The city of Da Lat, surrounded by mountains and lakes, has a comparatively mild climate, which is very pleasant to discover its many sights. Here are my Top 5 for you:

Liebe Steemianer, heute habe ich wieder einen Bericht über ein weiteres Zwischenziel auf meiner Reise durch Vietnam für euch! Die von Bergen und Seen umgebene Stadt, Da Lat, hat ein vergleichsweise mildes Klima zu bieten, was sehr angenehm ist, um ihre vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten zu entdecken. Hier sind meine Top 5 für euch:

The Crazy House

The crazy house really deserves its name. It consists of several buildings connected by seemingly organic corridors and stairs. It is impossible to classify this architecture as belonging to a particular style of art, it is most reminiscent of Gaudi's works in Barcelona. But this unique place is not only an art project, but also a guesthouse. One can actually stay overnight here!

Das verrückte Haus macht seinem Namen wirklich alle Ehre. Es besteht aus mehreren Gebäuden, die durch organisch wirkende Gänge und Treppen miteinander verbunden sind. Diese Architektur kann man unmöglich einem bestimmten Kunststil zuordnen, am ehesten erinnert sie an Gaudis Werke in Barcelona. Dieser einzigartige Ort ist aber nicht nur ein Kunstprojekt, sondern auch ein Gästehaus. Man kann hier tatsächlich übernachten!

The Train Station

The old station of Da Lat, built in Art Deco style, has a very special charm. There is only a short train connection to the Chua Linh Phuoc Pagoda for tourists. The wagons and the whole station area remind by their nostalgic design of long past times - very worth seeing!

Der alte, im Art Deco Stil erbaute, Bahnhof von Da Lat hat einen ganz speziellen Charme. Regelmäßigen Zugverkehr gibt es hier nur noch in Form einer kurzen Verbindung zur Chua Linh Phuoc Pagode für Touristen. Die Wagons und das ganze Bahnhofsgelände erinnern durch ihre nostalgische Gestaltung an längst vergangene Zeiten - sehr sehenswert!

Chua Linh Phuoc Temple & Pagoda

This unique temple complex is located just outside the city centre of Da Lat, but is well worth the short taxi or train ride! The pagoda is the highest in the country and houses the largest bell in Vietnam. Beside numerous golden statutes this place fascinates above all by its many mosaics. Definitely one of the temple highlights of the whole country!

Dieser einzigartige Tempelkomplex liegt etwas außerhalb des Stadtzentrums von Da Lat, ist aber die kurze Taxi- oder Zugfahrt auf jeden Fall wert! Die Pagode ist die höchste des Landes und beherbergt die größte Glocke Vietnams. Neben zahlreichen goldenen Statuten fasziniert dieser Ort vor allem durch seine vielen Mosaike. Mit Sicherheit eines der Tempel-Highlights des gesamten Landes!

Lam Vien Square

This is probably the most modern area of the city. The Lam Vien Square is a popular meeting place for the local population and fills up especially in the evening. The futuristic Café Doha is an absolute eye-catcher and shines especially in the evening in very special splendour. Below the square there is an underground shopping centre.

Dies ist wohl der modernste Bereich der Stadt. Der Lam Vien Platz ist beliebter Treffpunkt der einheimischen Bevölkerung und füllt sich vor allem gegen Abend. Das futuristische Café Doha ist ein absoluter Blickfang und erstrahlt besonders Abends in ganz besonderem Glanz. Unter dem Platz befindet sich ein unterirdisches Einkaufszentrum.

The golden Buddha Statue

The huge golden Buddha statue with its temple area is a comparatively quiet place that is not visited by too many tourists. This has certainly to do with its somewhat hidden location outside the city centre. Here you can relax wonderfully on numerous benches and recover from an exciting sightseeing day in Da Lat!

Die riesige, goldene Buddha-Statue mit ihrem dazugehörigen Tempelgelände ist ein vergleichsweise ruhiger Ort der nicht von allzu vielen Touristen besucht wird. Dies hat auch sicher mit seiner etwas versteckten Lage außerhalb des Stadtzentrums zu tun. Hier kann man auf zahlreichen Bänken wunderbar entspannen und sich von einem aufregenden Sightseeing-Tag in Da Lat erholen!

I can highly recommend you to spend a few days in Da Lat if you ever come to Vietnam! Meanwhile arrived in Saigon already and of course I'll tell you about this exciting metropolis soon!

Ich kann euch sehr empfehlen, ein paar Tage in Da Lat zu verbringen, wenn ihr mal nach Vietnam kommt! Ich bin mittlerweile in Saigon und werde euch natürlich auch bald von dieser aufregenden Metropole berichten!
