We all have some days that we will remember forever, be it for something good or something bad that we experienced. There are many memories that fade away and get lost but there are others which will stay with us for all eternity.
The days of 23th and 24th of June of 2012 are two days I will never f
This ancient stone construction, located in the North Region of Portugal, was used as a funeral chamber around 4000 years ago.
It is locally known as "Dólmen da Barrosa" and it's the most well preserved megalithic monument found in the area and, incomprehensibly, it has never been advertised as a to
The first Graffiti mural I encountered in Moscow was not in a very good shape. Sadly, many parts of it have been defaced and some bits are totally ruined. There are all kinds of tags and scribbles over the drawings... even so, there are a few good parts to be appreciated.
This is located at a parkin
Following up on my previous post (A Few Graffiti Found at the Bus Station in Zvolen), today I bring you the remaining pieces of Graffiti that I've found in this quiet and beautiful town.
After leaving the Bus Station, I looked at the time and calculated that I had a good 3 or 4 hours to spare, befor
The town of Šiauliai, in Lithuania is a very nice place to live in. Like most big cities, the main part of the town is a bit of a concrete jungle.
However, there's a part of the town where you don't see any concrete apartment blocks at all, only cute little houses such as this one... some are built
Today I want to show you a different side of the Naschmarkt. The more artistic side, if you prefer.
Yesterday, in my post, I showed you the traditional side of the market, when most stands were open to business.

Earlier this year, I've visited Vienna for a week. I've stayed in a hotel right by the Danube River and I took the opportunity to walk around the riverside and check out the surrounding areas.
When the week was over, I didn't have the time to visit the well known Naschmarkt. I've decided to correct
Located near the shore of the Hron river, just 3 km North of the center of Zvolen, you'll find the Arboretum Borová Hora, an incredible Botanical Garden with a vast diversity of plants and trees.
From up there, you get a spectacular view of the surrounding area, including the town of Zvolen.
When I was in Budapest, I wasn't very lucky with the weather so this is a city I feel like I need to revisit. My visit was a bit rushed, since my main goal was to visit Slovakia...
However, I liked the hotel location very much, as it was right in the center of everything. I could walk to the main at
One of the characteristics I liked about Budapest was the amount of public gardens available for people to relax and enjoy the day. It makes the city looks much prettier, when compared to some places like Paris, where you can walk for hours without finding the smallest public garden or just a bench
Just a few meters away from my hotel, stood the Károlyi Garden (Károlyi-kert, for the locals). This is situated right in the middle of the city's historical center.
It seems that this is the oldest garden in Budapest, a fact which I've only found out after I got home.
This gorgeous little park belon
This cute little house is the Tourist Information Center in the city of Vila do Conde (Portugal) and it's a tourist attraction on its own. The house is covered with plants, all trimmed and arranged in the shape of the house. Only its doors and windows are plant free.
